What do we do when our child wants something that we can't give them?
How many times a week do we hear: "I wish I could..." or, "I wish I could have..." or, "couldn't we do that Mom"?
It seems like we get a constant barrage of requests for the unreasonable.
Why can't our kids just grow up already!
What if we could learn to meet them where they are, validate them, show them that we really do care and that we actually hear them as well, ALL while still holding firmly to boundaries and reality.
